WHY NOT?

It was a Sunday in April, two years prior. Alex was fresh out of iso and was in desperate need for a play and potentially a new bio pic for Grindr. Two weeks of workouts on his parents’ balcony and an incredibly detailed skincare regime, his form was desperately fresh. The brief was somewhat brief: brief-less, followed by the promise of dinner post-shoot cooked by Steve, BYO vermouth, orange peel ideal but optional, ice essential.

Why not? It was a brief, yet a welcome interlude from regular programming. Apart from Clive’s antique crafternoons, the Le Mont apartment block hadn’t seen a creative display in months. A shameless 45 minute display of oiled up self expression followed: a sensory fiesta of sorts, for the pure purpose of play. Guided by an unwavering sense of knowing oneself, acutely aware of detail and form, yet gloriously chaotic and free. Shoot success.

The profile was updated. Alex met Will. They’re still together today, living London ways.
